Elle Fanning knows how to work a front row, and Coach's spring 2027 show in New York gave her plenty to work with. Styled by Sam McMillen, Fanning wore a bright red leather pencil skirt with a black blouse, black pumps, a beret and a white star covered Coach bag, finishing the look with a leopard print coat for good measure.
A big birthday for the brand
The show marked Coach's 85th anniversary, and creative director Stuart Vevers leaned fully into nostalgia for the occasion. Models walked the runway in cone party hats carrying confetti covered bags, and the show closed with an actual shower of confetti over the audience. Fanning skipped the cone hat in favor of her beret but clearly took the headwear memo seriously.
What else is ahead for Fanning
Before changing into her final look, Fanning got ready in a Hotel Chelsea robe alongside hairstylist Jenda Alcorn and makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe. Beyond fashion week, she has been expanding her work behind the camera through her production company with sister Dakota, Lewellen Pictures, and the two are preparing to appear on screen together for the first time in The Nightingale, expected to arrive in 2027. Fanning has said that after building separate careers and acting styles, coming together with her sister on a project finally feels right.
