A Bulgarian artist placed contemporary painting inside a business and aviation forum

Aviation Day 2026 was not limited to aircraft and machinery. An exhibition by Bulgarian artist and entrepreneur Mika Sav introduced contemporary art to the programme at Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport.

The official event profile describes Sav as a creator whose work explores female energy and leadership, and notes her entrepreneurial projects. Her paintings offered a contrasting experience alongside aviation displays and commercial conversations. The event also featured music and youth performances from local schools and arts groups.

The presence of Silvia Djagarova and Magazine Banker Special added a further publishing and lifestyle connection to a programme that also gave space to Bulgarian contemporary art.

The cultural component made the airport feel less like a restricted transport facility and more like a public meeting place. For a regional aviation forum, that may be one of the most enduring impressions.
Its partner ecosystem extended well beyond the headline aircraft manufacturer. The published list named Drustar Consulting, TouchPoint, Travel & Lifestyle, LABOR8, Lacrima, Frezco, Frezkoliada, Oliver Weber, Arrivo Premium Transfers, BNK, artist Mika Sav and the National Tourism Board. Each contributed a different business or cultural dimension to the programme.

Local youth ensembles also took part in the celebration, including the Bozhuri majorettes, a brass band, Gratsia Ballet School and the Graffiti vocal group. These performances gave families a reason to attend and linked an international business forum with the surrounding community.
