Jasmine Tookes thinks of jewelry less as an accessory and more as a kind of time capsule, something that holds onto a specific moment long after the moment itself has passed. That idea sits at the center of her new holiday campaign with Jared, released just ahead of the gifting season.

A campaign that kept it in the family

Tookes appears in Jared's Season to Dream campaign alongside her husband, Juan David Borrero, and fellow model Martha Hunt, in a series of images built around the act of gifting and what jewelry can communicate when words fall short. Shot by David Lipman, the campaign marks the first time Tookes and Borrero have done a jewelry project together, something she described as a genuinely fun experience. 'My husband said, this is so fun, bring your husband to work day,' she told ELLE. 'It was very special.'

Tookes credits the brand's craftsmanship and attention to detail as the reason she wanted to work with Jared specifically, noting its strength in creating personal gift pieces, whether for the holidays or smaller occasions.

A thoughtful gift giver at home

Within her own relationship, Tookes says jewelry has become a natural go-to gift, largely because of how closely tied it ends up being to memory. She described Borrero as an especially attentive gift giver, someone who tracks small comments she makes in passing and turns them into intentional gifts later.

Thinking generationally

Becoming a mother has pushed Tookes to think about her jewelry collection differently. She still owns pieces that belonged to her great-grandmother, and has started approaching her own purchases less as trend buys and more as future heirlooms meant for her daughter. For the holiday season, she curated a 15-piece edit for Jared, with the tennis bracelet standing out as her personal favorite for its versatility. 'It's easy to wear with everything,' she said. 'It's not too overpowering. You could really have just a white T-shirt on and jeans, and it just does it all.'

Asked who she would most want to see unwrap a special piece this year, Tookes did not hesitate. 'Probably my mom,' she said. 'My mom loves jewelry.'
