Nicole Kidman is having a moment, and the 2026 Emmys gave her another red carpet to fill it. She arrived in a custom white off the shoulder Chanel dress with a plunging neckline, feathered trim and a thigh high slit, finished with black pointed toe stilettos and her hair swept back. The look followed close on the heels of the Practical Magic 2 press tour.
Why she was there
Kidman is nominated this year in the Outstanding Comedy Series category as an executive producer of Margo's Got Money Troubles, a show that has already been confirmed for a second season on Apple TV. Series lead Elle Fanning also walked the carpet that night in a mint green gown.
A busy few weeks of red carpets
Just weeks earlier, Kidman wore Versace, the first design from the brand's new creative director Pieter Mulier, to the Practical Magic 2 premiere in Los Angeles. Earlier in August she also drew attention for her role in Troye Sivan's She's the Best music video, where she is seen smoking and dancing in a black dress. She recently described her own night out routine to British Vogue in detail, saying she has dinner at 10:30 at night and heads to a club by 1 in the morning, sometimes wearing glasses or a dark wig so she can dance without being noticed.
