Chanel turned one of Paris's oldest concert halls into a fully scented celebration last week for Gracie Abrams, marking her new role as the face of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu. Le Trianon, tucked at the foot of Montmartre, filled with notes of lychee, rose and amber for the night, with a Coco Mademoiselle cafe set up inside.
An interactive scent experience
Guests including Quen Blackwell sat with Crush Tellers, tarot readers dressed in Chanel jewelry, and Elixir Masters who walked partygoers through the new fragrance, created by house perfumer Olivier Polge. Magicians moved through the crowd making coins vanish and fire appear on their palms, while long handled telephones invited guests to dial in and learn more about their crush, paired with a specially made event newspaper called The Crush Absolu.
A night of music and familiar faces
Abrams spent part of the evening with fellow Chanel face Angele, the Belgian pop artist who fronts the brand's Chance Eau de Parfum. Inside the venue's historic theater, French musician Breakbot played a remix of Young Hearts Run Free as dancers performed on stage and along the balcony, while Honey Dijon, DJ Chloe Caillet and producer Alissia also took turns behind the decks with a mix of disco, soul and funk. Other guests spotted throughout the night included Rina Sawayama, Lou Doillon, Lux Pascal and Eddy de Pretto.
