Demi Moore has spent decades known for long, glossy hair, so her latest look at New York Fashion Week landed as a real departure. Stepping out for the Thom Browne spring 2027 show, the 63 year old debuted a new haircut that sits somewhere between chin grazing and micro bob length, her shortest style in years.
A shorter, sharper take
The cut suits anyone drawn to sleek, clean lines. It runs noticeably shorter than the popular Birkin bob, but keeps a polished, grown up feel that stays easier to maintain than an even more severe crop. Moore paired the new hair with an all black outfit, softening a bomber jacket and tie combination with sheer lace details, calf length stockings, an organza skirt and statement glasses.
How to get the look yourself
Stylist Reece Wentworth of Blue Tit salon told ELLE that chin length cuts do not have to end exactly at the chin, explaining that the real goal is balancing the length with a client's neck and jawline to bring out their strongest features. Short cuts like this one do take more upkeep, and Wentworth recommends booking the next appointment right after the initial cut, generally returning every eight to ten weeks to keep the shape sharp.
