Dakota Johnson and the musician Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, have gone their separate ways. A source told People the two stars, who were first linked romantically late last year, split some time ago, without offering details on when or why it happened.

## A recent nod on his new song

The breakup news arrived not long after Pillsbury talked about featuring Johnson on his track Love I You. He told Nylon in an interview published August 4 that he had several names in mind for the vocal cameo, and that Johnson happened to be in the studio the day it came together. He recalled joking that they should not mix work and relationships, only for Johnson to volunteer on the spot and record the part in one take, calling the result an amazing cameo he had not expected.

## What people close to them said before the split

Johnson and Pillsbury were last photographed together in April. A source told People at the time that the relationship had moved past anything casual, describing it as more than a fling or a flirtation and noting the two had been together since late the previous year.
