Angelina Jolie's youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, have just turned 18, and the actress is thinking about what comes next for herself. In a rare interview with L'Officiel, Jolie spoke candidly about all six of her kids, from 25 year old Maddox and 22 year old Pax down to the twins, describing them as distinct individuals and saying one of her proudest achievements as a parent has been staying out of their way as they build lives of their own.

## What her older kids are up to

Jolie discussed Maddox and Pax's work as assistant directors, explaining that she believes anyone interested in film needs to start by working on a crew and learning every department. She said Maddox has since focused on becoming a pilot while Pax has leaned into photography, though she thinks he still has an interest in film as well. She was careful to frame her closeness to their work as a parent's pride rather than involvement, saying she is simply their mother wanting to be near her family.

## A proud moment at Spelman

Jolie also reflected on daughter Zahara's time at Spelman College, an HBCU she graduated from this past May. She said she felt deeply honored to be part of that experience, describing how welcomed and supported she felt despite not assuming she would be, and calling it a place that transformed Zahara and became part of the family's story. She recalled being pulled aside when Zahara joined Alpha Kappa Alpha, learning from members there what that membership means for life.

## What comes next for her

Asked what she wants for herself as she prepares to spend more time outside the United States, Jolie said she is looking forward to more connection and community rather than vacations or shopping, describing a future built around fieldwork, travel and being out in the world, joking that she would like to get her motorcycle back too.
